A bit of history about Carlberg

Around Christmas 1899 the carpenter Carl Andersson and his wife Emilia moved to the newly built house on the Carlberg property. The house was small, having only one room and a kitchen downstairs and a bedroom and a sitting room upstairs. Accompanying them in the move were their children Berta and Georg, and soon their siblings Gunnar and Signe were born. Currently Signes son Bosse and his wife Margretha live in the house, which has been renovated in a turn of the century style.
The house that now acts as a Bed & Breakfast was built later, in 1923, by Bosses grandfather with the help of his sons
Georg and Gunnar. The ground floor was at that time made into a laundry room and a carpenters workshop.
The upper floor had a bedroom and a kitchen. Fast forward to today and the carpenters workshop has become a dining room
and the laundry room has turned into a kitchen. On the upper floor are the bedrooms and a common room.
